It originates from Italy, with its beginnings dating back to 1948 when it started as a family business in the city of Bassano del Grappa. The company was founded based on the merger of two brands: Kilkenny and F.lli Campagnolo, which had been operating in the clothing industry since the 1950s. The founder was Maria Disegna, and the company was developed by her sons: Andrea, Mario, Antonio, Silvano, and Giorgio Campagnolo. Initially, the focus was on producing hats and sweaters. In 2010, the brand underwent a significant transformation, focusing on the market for outdoor clothing and accessories. As a result, CMP became one of the European leaders in this industry, and its products are available in thousands of specialist sports stores worldwide.

Development and Innovation

The brand's dynamic development was possible thanks to investments in modern technologies and expansion of production facilities. CMP currently has six modern factories in Italy, Romania, and Tunisia, where advanced technologies and innovative materials are used, such as Kevlar, high-quality polyester fibers, and specialized membranes. This ensures that CMP products are resistant to harsh weather conditions and mechanical damage. The brand gained recognition for implementing solutions such as Vibram® soles in trekking shoes, which provide excellent grip on diverse terrains.
