Origin and history of the brand
The Scho-Ka-Kola brand was established in 1935 in Berlin. Its creator was the company Hildebrand, Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik GmbH, and the recipe was authored by Theodor Hildebrandt. The product was first widely presented during the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, where it was promoted as chocolate for athletes, meant to support concentration and provide energy.
During World War II, the factory was almost completely destroyed, but after the end of hostilities and the lifting of the Berlin blockade, production was resumed. Shortly thereafter, Scho-Ka-Kola chocolate began to be exported to many countries, including the USA, Canada, England, and Australia.
