The origins of Scho-Ka-Kola chocolate date back to 1935. The recipe was created by Theodor Hildebrand, the founder of Hildebrand, Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik GmbH. Scho-Ka-Kola entered the market during the 1936 Olympics and was initially recognized as chocolate for athletes, but during World War II, it was primarily used by soldiers, including Luftwaffe pilots.
