Zippo Butane Single Flame Lighter Insert

I have several Zippo lighters and for some time now I have been using gas inserts with a traditional flame. Now, I decided to install a jet flame insert in one of my Zippo lighters, which works great for everyday use. The downside of classic inserts is the evaporation of gasoline and the need to frequently refill it, which can be troublesome. For people who use their lighter occasionally, this insert is the perfect solution. The lighter itself keeps its characteristic click and attractive appearance, so this is an interesting alternative. It's worth remembering that these inserts only fit "regular" and "vintage" models—they don't fit "slim" or "replica" versions due to their different case shapes. The lighter always lights without any problems. In my 2005 case the insert fits snugly, so it doesn't fall out, but in newer models it can be looser and stick out a little bit. Since cases have different dimensions, sometimes it's worth sliding a folded piece of paper under the insert for a better fit—especially for those just starting out with Zippo.
