The shoes look solid, but I haven’t had a chance to test them yet. The size turned out to be smaller than the chart indicates—my foot is 30.5 cm long and size 47 didn’t fit, so I had to return the product.
Zephyr Tactical Low ZX56 Shoes - Olive
Low-profile tactical footwear in Olive, made with an upper combining natural suede leather and textile inserts, featuring a Free-tex membrane. Ideal for uniformed services as well as everyday wear in urban or outdoor settings.
Free-tex membrane
The breathable Free-tex membrane protects against external moisture while allowing moisture to escape from inside the shoe. The three-layer construction guarantees complete waterproofing and provides thermal insulation.
EVA foam insole, oil-resistant sole, non-slip tread
The midsole and insole, made from flexible EVA foam, boost comfort by absorbing shocks and providing extra cushioning in the heel area. Equipped with a oil-resistant rubber sole featuring a well-defined tread, it delivers outstanding traction on various surfaces due to its non-slip properties.
No metal components
The shoes are designed without metal components, allowing you to pass through security gates at airports and other secure facilities without any problems.

Great shoes – after two years of intensive daily outdoor use, they still look practically like new. The material around the inner heels is a bit worn, but it doesn’t affect comfort (I haven’t found any shoes that haven’t had this happen). They are very comfortable and almost indestructible. For this price, in my opinion, they have no competition.

The shoes are incredibly comfortable and durable; you don't have to worry about toe protection because they are well secured. The sole provides stability even on wet surfaces. Just make sure to choose the right size and go by the insole length.
-
The front of the shoe is quite narrow at the big toe joint. According to the insole, size 41 should be a bit too large for my foot (26 cm), but due to the narrow toe, my toes were squeezed, which could result in bunions. Size 42 would be too wide because the shoes are generally for a broader foot, and mine is not. The color in person is darker than in the photos. Both the sole and insole are wide, so they'll work well for flat feet. There aren't any strange features except for the narrowed front. The insole needs replacing because the factory one was already uncomfortable at first contact.

Right out of the box, you can feel that the shoes are stiff, but even during the first long hike (over 4 hours), they performed well. My feet quickly got used to them and I didn’t get any blisters, which I was worried about. However, my feet are used to wearing heavier, stiffer shoes, so I don’t know how it would be for someone switching from softer shoes. As for water resistance, they passed the test with a good grade, but for the forest, especially for mushroom picking, models with a higher upper will be better.

Upon opening the box, the first impression is a very intense smell, but it fades with time and you can calmly test the shoes outside. At first, they're stiff, but after a few kilometers, they start to fit better. They are heavy, so after a summer break it may be noticeable. The size matches what is listed on the website, but I especially recommend them for people with wide feet – with narrower feet, you'll need to tie them tighter so the shoes hold the heel well. I added extra holes in the laces myself and now it's great. They look quite clunky, but in my opinion, they look good and are sturdy, and the thick sole gives a sense of safety on uneven ground. If they turn out to be waterproof, I will be very satisfied.

I bought them over a month ago and I am satisfied with my choice. Advantages: they are completely waterproof, comfortable from the first wear, and the sole provides great slip resistance. Disadvantages: the sizing runs large (a 46 is really a 47), they are quite stiff (even after a month they remain rigid), the round laces sometimes come undone, and the shoes are very warm, so I feel like my foot doesn't breathe well enough.

I rate the Zephyr Tactical Low ZX54 - Grey shoes very highly. The quality of workmanship, stitching, and gluing is at a high level. The footwear has a thick protective layer on the toe and heel. They are stiff and have a thick sole. They work well for the forest, shooting range, and mountains.

The footwear is comfortable and protects the toes well. They are a bit stiff at first, but after a few days, they fit the foot well. Breathability is average, but they work well for colder days.

After just a few hours, I really liked these shoes. They feel solid, which time will tell, but they already remind me of Alpine models. They have numerous reinforcements, the toe protection is really good (I tested it with a hammer). They look better in person than in the pictures. They go well with Grey/Graphite camouflage. Be careful with the sizing—I have a small foot and although I usually wear 40-41, here size 39 fits perfectly (the chart says 25.4 cm, but actually about 26.2 cm). Good quality socks were included in the set. The value for money is very favorable.

The shoes are very comfortable, although so far I've only used them in the city, not in the field. They stabilize the foot well, the leather looks solid but requires proper care because the suede can lose color if not maintained. The seams look durable, so I hope they will last a long time. I'll also see how the sole performs in different conditions; so far it gives a good impression. They have a membrane, but I still recommend waterproofing them before going out in the field, even if it's Gore-Tex – without it you can get unpleasantly surprised in the rain or wet terrain. Overall, I'm satisfied and I hope the shoes will last me a few years.
-
The shoes are nice, they have a green color and are a bit too large, but they have a breathable membrane, which makes them dry quickly. Although they are massive, that's exactly how they're supposed to be – good for the forest and the city. They are comfortable and well made.
-
The shoes are durable and comfortable, and even with thick socks, my feet don't sweat in them. It's a pity that there are no half sizes, because although I usually wear 46, this size here is a bit loose. After a month of use, I am satisfied with them.
-
The shoes are comfortable to wear, I wore them all winter and I am satisfied. An extra plus is the good quality socks included in the set. For the shoes alone, I give 4 stars, and one more star for the socks.
-
The shoes look great and are perfectly made, everything is carefully glued with no defects. They are relatively light and fairly stiff. Unfortunately, size 42 is too small for me, and size 43 is too big—even with thick socks, my foot moves inside. It's a shame, because I really like them and regret that they didn't fit. The price and quality of craftsmanship are excellent.
