Wiley X Alpine Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Tungsten Mirror/Matte Black/Tan

Tactical glasses in Matte Black/Tan color are equipped with lenses made from Selenite polycarbonate, using modern Captivate technology, and lightweight and durable polymer frames. Rubber contact elements, including nose pads and temple tips, improve stability and ensure secure placement during movement. The model is suitable for outdoor use in sunny conditions and bright lighting.

The 2.5 mm thick lenses are made of shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate, which provides 100% protection against harmful UV (UVA, UVB) rays. The lens production using Captivate technology allows for even light distribution to the eye, balancing the visible light spectrum. The neutral color hue is maintained, while enhancing greens. Reduction of glare and enhancement of contrast and color in the outdoor environment provide protection against harmful ultraviolet radiation UVA and UVB, as well as blue light (HEV).

The lenses feature an Oleophobic coating that prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water from settling, making them significantly easier to clean compared to standard lenses without coating. T-Shell coating provides scratch resistance.

Anatomically contoured frames and lenses are manufactured using HVP technology (High Velocity Protection). They protect the eyes from injuries caused by high-speed objects. The frames are made from durable polymer. Their curved shape (Active 8) ensures a good fit without losing comfort when using headphones or hearing protectors. Semi-hook, rubber, anti-slip temple arms and nose pad make the glasses stable on the face. Venturi Suction technology prevents fogging of the glasses, even during intense activity.

• ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s).
• MIL-PRF 32432A - according to this standard, the frame and visor must withstand fragments impacting at a steel fragment speed of approximately 768–796 km/h (about 213–221 m/s) without lens penetration and without detachment of elements that could injure the user.
