I bought two Celox Foxseal Vented chest seals for my shooting range first aid kit (IFAK). The packaging is sturdy, and the square shape and flexibility make it easy to fit in the kit.
Celox Foxseal Vented Bandage
Vented chest seal crafted to securely close wounds in the chest. Equipped with the Hyper-Vent 360° system and 24 ventilation holes, enabling the one-way valve to let air escape from the pleural cavity, thereby lowering the threat of pneumothorax while stopping external air from entering.
hydrogel with polyurethane film, 24 ventilation holes
The Celox Foxseal Vented features a hydrogel layer topped with a polyurethane (PU) film, safeguarding the centrally located soft valve. Its radial design comprises 3 rings each with 8 holes, totaling 24 holes and 512 ventilation pathways. This design ensures effective air release, even when folded or applied to irregular, curved surfaces such as beneath clothing or a tactical vest.
safe use
Sterile dressing designed for application by skilled medical staff. Latex-free to minimize the possibility of allergic reactions.

This is an essential element of every tactical first aid kit. A big advantage is the ability to fold the dressing, which means it fits perfectly even into smaller belt pouches. It has a long shelf life, and the manufacturer is a reputable brand.

The advantage is that the dressing is small, flat, and convenient—it should be in the first aid kit of anyone who is involved in shooting, fencing, or other activities with risk of chest injury. For a BOB, it is a must-have item and it would be a shame not to have it—very light, compact, and reliable, it can prove priceless in tough situations!

Great dressing at a good price. The long shelf life (up to 2028) is a big advantage. Thanks to its flexibility, it easily fits in the first aid kit. I hope it will only be used for training. Highly recommend.
