Varusteleka L4 Operator Cap Cap - Ranger Green

A green cap, styled with a cut referencing classic patrol caps, enhanced with solutions suitable for tactical use. The model was designed for security personnel, soldiers, uniformed service officers, and people operating in the field.

The versatile construction also makes the cap suitable for everyday wear, walks, trips, outdoor activities, and work requiring effective protection from the sun. Velcro panels allow its appearance to be matched to the nature of the tasks being carried out.

The model is made from a material consisting of a combination of 3 fibers, each of which is responsible for a different performance feature of the fabric:

• 50% cotton - increases wearing comfort, provides softness against the skin, and supports the breathability of the material. This makes the cap well suited for extended use.
• 48% polyamide - increases the durability of the fabric and its resistance to abrasion, tearing, and intensive use. The polyamide fiber supports the durability of the construction during field operations.
• 2% elastane - gives the material flexibility, making it easier for the cap to fit the shape of the head. It also supports wearing comfort and helps reduce pressure during prolonged use.

The fabric is made in a Rip-Stop weave, whose reinforced structure reduces the risk of small tears and mechanical damage spreading.

The fabric and the cap's velcro elements have been developed in a way that is intended to reduce their visibility in near-infrared light. As a result, the material does not reflect infrared radiation as intensely as standard fabrics and velcro, which helps reduce the contrast of the cap during observation with night vision.

The model features a classic 6-panel design with a contoured visor. The crown panels are joined with durable stitching, which helps maintain the proper shape of the cap during intensive use. The construction sits well on the head and provides protection from the sun.

The visor has a reinforced construction and is finished with multiple rows of stitching. This solution increases its stability and helps maintain its set profile. At the back of the cap there is an adjustable strap with a buckle. This element allows the circumference to be fitted to the head and stabilizes the cap during movement, running, and work.

The model is equipped with 3 velcro panels:

• front panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
• rear panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
• top panel measuring 30 x 20 mm

Velcro panels are used to attach identification patches, flags, unit emblems, blood type markings, and other accessories equipped with velcro.

There are 6 ventilation openings in the upper part of the cap. They are positioned in the crown panels to improve air circulation inside the cap and help dissipate excess heat. The openings support ventilation during marching, field work, intense exertion, and use in higher temperatures.
