Fleeces work best when they fit the body well. Their thinness is a plus – two thin ones are better than one thick one. I decided to buy it based on the description, but the fleece fits me quite tightly, maybe even a bit too much. I’ll probably buy another one but in a larger size. I was surprised by the reversed zipper and the patch on the right side instead of traditionally on the back or left. I heard it can serve as a liner, maybe then everything will fit as expected. The material is very stretchy, and women can easily buy it too. I recommend it.

Overall, it's generally okay, but I have some reservations. I don't fully understand the manufacturer's intention. To connect the fleece to the Conger jacket, you have to turn it inside out. Then the pockets are inside and the fleece is reversed. I'm not sure this is the right solution, because the side of the fleece that's pleasant against the body is now against the jacket, and the part that should be inside is on the outside – how does this affect the thermal properties? It's also quite small for a size L (I have the jacket in size L), and it's pretty tight under the arms. The fleece itself isn't particularly thick. When attached to the jacket, the whole set doesn't seem particularly warm. I definitely wouldn't call this set suitable for harsh, freezing conditions. Both the jacket and fleece are black. To sum up: it's rather okay.

As for the size, I agree it’s worth choosing one size up. The sweatshirt itself is very pleasant to the touch and, despite its apparent thinness, keeps you warm. The cut is rather slim—well-fitted to the figure, but not tight or constricting.

Big plus. The fleece is very warm – you can quickly feel its thermal properties. I think the sizing runs a bit small. I chose M as a base layer and it was a great choice. But as an outer sweatshirt, I'd recommend L.

I bought the Conger fleece specifically for the TEXAR CONGER jacket as a permanent liner in size 4XL – it fits the jacket of the same size. I'm 188 cm tall, weigh 98 kg, have a 116 cm chest, and the fleece fits just right; it stretches a little, but not excessively. If you want to use it together with a thicker fleece (e.g., 250+ g/m²), it might be tight inside – so it's better to choose a thinner one. It works well in low temperatures, both with a Scandinavian store fleece as a base layer and with a wool sweater. The product is rather thin and was bought mainly as a liner for the jacket, so the jacket's membrane wouldn’t get worn out from frequent zipping and unzipping. I’m satisfied, although the sizing is rather unusual – it’s a pity there’s no 5XL. The fleece serves its purpose, and the store, as usual, provided express delivery. I gave 4 stars because the sizing is a bit strange. I recommend it!

Sweatshirt bought a few months after the jacket – fits perfectly with the jacket and on me. High-quality material, solid attachment for the jacket. Note, the liner fastens "inside out" – that's how the zippers are sewn and that's how you access the pockets. Very good set for any season.

Warm, not too thick. I mainly use it at work, so it has seen intensive use and performs well. It could be a bit longer, but overall I'm very satisfied. This is already my second purchase of this product.

I bought my first Conger fleece in 2021 and recently got another, so I can compare them. The quality of the product is still at a very high level. In the newer version, the inside of the fleece is even more pleasant to the touch. However, I noticed a significant flaw – the sizing has changed for the worse. The previous L was much bigger, and the current one is practically an enlarged M. I wanted to exchange the product for a larger one, but I had already cut off the tag, trusting that an L from Texar is always an L from Texar. I was disappointed with the new sizing. I still recommend the product, but be careful choosing the size!

The fleece is warm and relatively comfortable, but the sizes don’t match up exactly—it’s better to choose a larger size than you think is right. My only comment is about the style: the sleeves start quite narrow compared to the rest, although that may depend on your body build.

Fleece of very good quality (this is already my second purchase). Thanks to its weight, it works great under a jacket and despite its thickness is quite warm. I use it in various weather conditions and it has never let me down. An additional plus is its small size when folded.

The fleece sweatshirt is comfortable and fits well. You can use it on its own as outerwear or add it as a liner to a suitable jacket for winter. It’s worth trying it on before buying to choose the right size.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This is already my second sweatshirt like this because it fits very well under a jacket. Both still serve me well and I wear them often. The cut slims the silhouette and fits well. The pockets are large, which makes it easy to store and take out, for example, a phone. The sweatshirt is light, the material is flexible and doesn't wrinkle, although the manufacturer didn’t mention this feature, but should have. Any creases straighten out quickly. I highly recommend it.

The quality meets all criteria: design, finish, material. I bought the sweatshirt for the ECWCS Texar Conger jacket – the size is right, but it's a bit too tight in the armpits. I recommend choosing your size more carefully!
-
Very good quality workmanship at a great price. The sweatshirt is thin or at most of medium thickness, so it is perfect under a jacket. The warm, high collar means you can skip the scarf. The only downside is the sizing. I usually buy XL, but here I had to exchange for XXL because the XL was too narrow in the shoulders, underarms, and chest, though this made the sleeves a bit too long.

I wanted to use this fleece as an additional layer for the Conger jacket – the zippers and closures are compatible, but the fleece material clings to clothes, which makes it difficult to put on and take off the jacket. For this reason, I returned the fleece. If Texar produces a lining from a smooth material, I’ll gladly buy it because the jacket itself is excellent.
