MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by the US-based company Crye Precision, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), under the Objective Force Warrior program. This pattern was engineered to be a flexible camouflage effective across various terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. The MultiCam design comprises seven colors and creates smooth transitions among green, brown, and beige shades. Consequently, it adapts dynamically to different backgrounds, presenting green hues in forested areas or turning to browns and beiges in desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern Europe, it performs especially well during autumn and in areas with dry vegetation. MultiCam has garnered global recognition and is utilized by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Furthermore, the pattern is available to civilians and is a favored choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
