Tasmanian Tiger Base Pack IRR Backpack 75-90 l - Stone Grey Olive

Backpack in Stone Grey Olive with a capacity of 75 liters, designed for carrying a large amount of equipment during expeditions, trekking, and activities that require transporting heavy baggage. The roll-top snow collar used means that the capacity can be increased to 90 liters, making it easier to adjust the backpack to the amount of gear being carried.

The model combines an advanced carry system with the option of external gear attachment. Numerous MOLLE/PALS webbing straps placed on the front, sides, and lid allow additional pockets, pouches, and accessories to be attached. The design works well both on hiking and outdoor trips and in professional applications.

durable cordura 700d and T-Square Rip FD, dwr coating

The backpack is made from durable Cordura 700D and T-Square Rip FD fabric. The combination of both materials provides resistance to intensive use, abrasion, and loads that occur when transporting a large amount of equipment.

The surface is finished with a PFC- and PFAS-free DWR treatment. The coating limits moisture absorption and helps protect the contents from light rain. Reinforcements have been placed in areas especially exposed to load, including at mounting webbing, compression points, and carry system components.

IRR PROPERTIES

The backpack material features IRR properties compliant with TL 8305-0278. This means reduced fabric reflectivity in the near-infrared range and reduced reflection of IR radiation.

Such parameters reduce the contrast of the material against the surroundings when observed with devices operating in the near-infrared range.

well-thought-out cargo space

The backpack's base capacity is 75 liters. After detaching the lid and using the roll-top snow collar, it can be increased to 90 liters. This solution makes it possible to adjust the space flexibly to the current load without using additional modules.

The interior is divided into a main compartment and a lower compartment. This layout improves baggage organization and allows gear used on an ongoing basis to be separated from items stored in the lower section. Access to the individual zones makes packing easier to plan and reduces the need to remove all the contents.

The backpack body has an elongated form and is equipped with numerous compression points. This makes it possible to reduce its volume when it is not fully loaded and to stabilize the carried baggage.

adjustable lid and roll-top snow collar

The backpack is equipped with a detachable, height-adjustable lid that secures the upper part of the load and makes it possible to adjust the closure to the degree of filling. The pocket placed on it provides quick access to the most necessary small items, and a separate compartment allows for storing a first aid kit. The lid also has loops for attaching additional gear and webbing compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system.

After the lid is detached, its function is taken over by the roll-top snow collar. It can be closed in one of 2 positions, adjusting the height to the amount of gear being carried. This solution makes it possible to increase the backpack capacity from 75 to 90 liters while also limiting the entry of moisture and snow into the interior. The roll-top design also allows the overall size to be reduced after the backpack is partially emptied.

MOLLE/PALS system, numerous attachment points

The front, sides, and lid of the backpack are equipped with webbing compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system. They allow additional pockets, pouches, and modules suited to the type of trip and the amount of gear being carried to be attached.

Attachment points and gear loops placed on the outer surfaces allow equipment to be carried outside the main compartment. They can be used to attach, among other things, trekking poles, ice axes, clothing items, a mat, camping gear, or other accessories.

The combination of the MOLLE/PALS system with additional attachment points makes it possible to expand the backpack and adapt the way equipment is carried to individual needs.

space for a water tank, velcro panels

Velcro panels have been placed on the front and lid of the backpack, allowing patches, identification markings, and emblems to be attached.

The backpack is compatible with a hydration system, so the water tank can be placed inside the main compartment and used while walking without needing to remove the load. The tube can be routed through dedicated openings and along the shoulder straps.

Additional antenna ports allow an antenna or cables to be routed out of the main compartment. This solution helps keep cables organized and use communication devices without opening the backpack.

v2 carry system with sternum strap and hip belt

Carrying comfort is provided by the V2 carry system. The design was developed for stable weight distribution between the back, shoulders, and hips during long marches. The shaped back panel and appropriately positioned adjustment elements help fit the backpack to the body and keep it close to the back. This makes it easier to control the load while moving over uneven terrain.

The height-adjustable sternum strap stabilizes the shoulder straps and limits them from slipping off the shoulders. The wide hip belt stabilizes the backpack on the hips and reduces strain on the shoulders while walking. A special system allows the hip belt to be tightened by pulling the straps forward, while classic front adjustment allows its circumference to be precisely fitted to the body. The combination of 2 adjustment methods improves stability and makes it easier to carry heavy equipment comfortably.

Velcro feature
Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

IRR feature
IRR

Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.

DWR feature
DWR

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.

V2 System feature
V2 System

V2 is a fully adjustable carrying system designed to carry heavier loads. It increases the comfort of the backpack by relieving pressure on the spine and shoulders. Aluminum frame along with adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap, three-piece waist belt provide high flexibility. Multi-layer breathable foam with AirTex protection on the molded concave back panel is responsible for proper air circulation and moisture wicking.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

T-Square Rip FD feature
T-Square Rip FD
T-Square Rip FD is a technical fabric used in backpacks and tactical and outdoor equipment, based on a dense weave of 210D polyamide fibers. The use of FD (full-dull) yarn gives it a matte finish that reduces light reflection while maintaining high abrasion and tear resistance. The material is often combined with Cordura – Cordura is used in areas requiring maximum strength, while T-Square Rip FD reduces the weight of the entire structure without compromising durability.
