Stoirm Tactical Softshell Gen2 Jacket - Black

Jacket in black, an upgraded version of the Tactical Softshell model. A lightweight and warm outer layer intended for field operations, professional use, and everyday wear in changing weather conditions.

It combines rain protection rated at 10 000 mm/m2 with 10 000 g/m2/24 h breathability and material flexibility. The refined fit does not restrict freedom of movement, and the numerous pockets allow for convenient carrying of essential equipment.

The jacket is made from durable Rip-Stop fabric with a structure that improves resistance to intensive use. The reinforced weave reduces the risk of tears and slows their further expansion in the event of mechanical damage to the material. The fabric contains an elastane blend, which improves the fit and increases freedom of movement.

The inside of the model is finished with fleece, which improves wearing comfort and creates an additional insulating layer. The soft structure helps reduce heat loss in cooler conditions. The fleece layer also increases comfort when wearing the jacket directly over a T-shirt or a thin thermal layer.

The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic PFC-free DWR finish. It reduces water absorption and makes it easier for droplets to run off the fabric surface. The hydrophobic finish makes dirt less likely to settle and helps keep the jacket clean.

The jacket provides waterproof protection rated at 10 000 mm/m2, confirmed by a test compliant with the EN ISO 811 standard. This parameter protects against rainfall encountered during everyday use and field activities.

The material's breathability is 10 000 g/m2/24 h, in accordance with the JIS L1099 B1 test. This helps wick away water vapor generated during exertion and reduces the feeling of excessive heat buildup inside the jacket.

The model is equipped with a set of 6 pockets located on the body, chest, and sleeves:

• 2 pockets on both sleeves with zipper pulls

The lower pockets can be used for warming your hands, while also providing space for basic accessories. The soft lining improves comfort in cooler conditions. The sleeve pockets are positioned high, so they remain accessible without removing a backpack or belt.

The chest pocket provides quick access to small items such as documents, a phone, a flashlight, or other handy gear. The internal pocket allows for safe storage of items requiring extra protection.

The jacket is fastened with a two-way SBS zipper. This type of construction allows the jacket to be unzipped from the top or the bottom, which makes ventilation adjustment easier, provides access to gear worn underneath, and allows comfortable use of the jacket while seated. The main zipper is covered with a windproof strip that limits the penetration of wind and moisture.

The sides feature long ventilation zippers. They allow you to quickly increase airflow and release excess heat during intense activity. Their placement allows temperature regulation without the need to fully unzip the jacket.

The hood is equipped with a contoured, lightly stiffened visor, which increases facial protection from rain and limits incoming wind. The hood design is fitted to the head, while the side and rear adjustments allow its volume to be reduced and improve stability during movement.

The hood can be detached when not needed. Once removed, the jacket retains a minimalist form with a high collar that protects the neck.

There are velcro panels on the outer side of both sleeves. They allow the attachment of patches, emblems, unit markings, IDs, and other elements used to customize the jacket. The bottom edge of the jacket features adjustment with an elastic drawstring and cord lock. This solution allows the fit to be adjusted to the body and helps reduce drafts from below.

The cuffs can be adjusted using wide velcro fasteners. This allows the sleeve circumference to be adjusted to the wrist, gloves, or an additional layer of clothing. On the inside, elastic knit cuffs with thumb holes are used. They stabilize the sleeves during movement, reduce ride-up, and provide additional wrist coverage.
