Stoirm Tactical Gen2 Softshell Jacket - Ranger Green

Jacket in green, an updated version of the Tactical Softshell model. A lightweight and warm outer layer designed for field operations, professional use, and everyday wear in changing weather conditions.

It combines rain protection rated at 10,000 mm/m2 with breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24 h and material flexibility. The refined fit does not restrict freedom of movement, and the numerous pockets allow convenient carrying of essential equipment.

The jacket is made from durable Rip-Stop fabric with a structure that increases resistance to intensive use. The reinforced weave reduces the risk of tears forming and slows their expansion in the event of mechanical damage to the fabric. The material contains an elastane blend, which improves the fit to the body and increases freedom of movement.

The model features an inner fleece finish that improves wearing comfort and provides an additional insulating layer. The soft structure helps reduce heat loss in cooler conditions. The fleece layer also increases comfort when wearing the jacket directly over a T-shirt or a thin thermal base layer.

The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic PFC-free DWR finish. It limits water absorption and helps droplets run off the fabric surface. The hydrophobic finish makes dirt less likely to adhere and makes the jacket easier to keep clean.

The jacket provides waterproofness rated at 10,000 mm/m2, confirmed by a test compliant with EN ISO 811. This parameter protects against precipitation during everyday use and field activities.

The material's breathability is 10,000 g/m2/24 h, in accordance with the JIS L1099 B1 test. This helps wick away water vapor generated during exertion and reduces the feeling of excessive heat buildup inside the jacket.

The model is equipped with 6 pockets located on the body, chest, and sleeves:

• 2 lower side pockets with zippers and soft fleece lining

• 1 internal zippered pocket with a bright zipper pull
• 2 pockets on both sleeves with zippers

The lower pockets can be used for warming the hands while also providing space for essential accessories. The soft lining improves comfort in cooler conditions. The sleeve pockets are positioned high, so they can be used without removing a backpack or belt.

The chest pocket provides quick access to small items such as documents, a phone, a flashlight, or other handy equipment. The internal pocket allows secure storage of items requiring additional protection.

The jacket fastens with a two-way SBS zipper. This solution allows the jacket to be unzipped from the top or the bottom, which makes ventilation adjustment easier, allows access to gear worn underneath, and makes the jacket more comfortable to use while seated. The main zipper is covered by a flap that limits the penetration of wind and moisture.

There are long ventilation zippers on the sides. They allow quick increased airflow and release excess heat during intense activity. Their placement allows temperature regulation without needing to fully unzip the jacket.

The hood features a contoured, lightly stiffened visor that improves face protection from rain and reduces incoming wind. The hood construction is fitted to the head, and the side and rear adjustments allow its volume to be reduced and improve stability during movement.

The hood can be detached when it is not needed. Once removed, the jacket retains a minimalist form with a high collar that protects the neck.

Velcro panels are placed on the outer side of both sleeves. They allow patches, emblems, unit markings, ID tags, or other elements personalizing the jacket to be attached. The bottom edge of the jacket features adjustment with an elastic drawstring and cord lock. This solution allows the circumference to be adjusted to the body and helps reduce drafts from below.

The cuffs can be adjusted using wide velcro fasteners. This allows the sleeve circumference to be adjusted to the wrist, gloves, or an additional clothing layer. On the inside, elastic knit cuffs with thumb holes are used. They stabilize the sleeves during movement, limit them riding up, and provide additional wrist coverage.
