Good and versatile sharpener. It allows you to quickly and easily sharpen various types of knives. When folded, it is quite compact and can be taken outdoors. I recommend it.
The Spyderco Triangle sharpening system is renowned as a popular and easy-to-use professional sharpening kit. It offers a choice of three sharpening angles and two grades of sharpening rods.
Contents of the Spyderco Triangle set include:
- 4 sharpening rods (2 grades)
- a stable base with:
- guides to set the rod angles (options: 20, 15, or 12 degrees)
- brass guards to prevent hand injuries
- an instructional video on DVD
How to use:
To sharpen a knife, draw the knife edge downwards along the sharpening rod (perpendicular to the ground) as if slicing. Two rods set at the desired angle enable quick and convenient sharpening from both sides of the knife's edge alternately.
The rod edges can sharpen concave and serrated blades; both rods can also lay flat for use like a traditional whetstone.
Designed to be intuitive, the system enables even inexperienced users to sharpen a knife to a razor-quality edge.
Viewing the instructional video is recommended before use!

Spyderco is an American company based in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The brand's origins are linked to the invention of the “Portable Hand,” which gave rise to the company's name, and in 1978, the innovative Tri-Angle Sharpmaker® was introduced. The breakthrough came in 1981 with the launch of the C01 Worker knife - the world's first model with a carrying clip, the distinctive Spyderhole opening, and the serrated SpyderEdge blade. Spyderco was also a pioneer in the use of new materials, being the first to introduce CPM S60V powder steel and H-1 stainless steel, designed for use in marine environments. For years, the brand has been collaborating with renowned knifemakers, including Al Mar, Ernest Emerson, and Marcin Slysz, creating unique models that have gained iconic status. The stylized spider logo symbolizes both the company's origins and Spyderco's values: precision, innovation, and high performance.

Very good sharpener, it handles many knives, is easy to use, and when folded, takes up very little space in the backpack, which makes it easy to take on a trip. It's expensive, but worth it.
-
Great sharpener. You can sharpen everything – from regular knives, to serrated models, to scissors, nail clippers, and fishing hooks. The kit comes with both a video and a brochure instruction, showing how to sharpen each tool. I recommend it.
-
The price is high, but it's worth buying. You can easily sharpen even the best steel knives.
-
I recommend it to anyone who uses knives more seriously.
-
Really good sharpener. I tested it on all my knives – from a small EDC (154CM), to bushcraft (1095 CRO-VAN), up to a large KA-BAR (1095 CRO-VAN). I didn’t test it on super steels, because I don’t have them. I recommend it to people who can’t sharpen well on a stone or don’t have the funds for a good set of stones. The extensive instructions – both paper and on DVD – are helpful, and there are plenty of tutorial videos online.
-
Worth buying, sharpening on rods is much more predictable than on plates.
-
Top quality. Expensive, but definitely recommend.
-
Great set. The price is quite high, so it's worth hunting for promotions.
-
I managed to sharpen several dull knives very quickly and easily. I recommend it!
-
Good sharpener.
-
A classic in its kind. I sharpen all my knives and my parents’ knives with this tool. Thanks to the right angles, sharpening is very easy. If you add diamond rods, the tool allows you to quickly sharpen almost any knife to a razor edge. Unfortunately, the price goes up every year.
-
I have been using this set for years and it easily handles sharpening everything I have at hand. Over time, it's worth investing in diamond rods.
-
I have been using this equipment for 4 years, never changed the stones. I sharpen my kitchen knives, my parents', and my in-laws'. It also works with pocket knives, EDC, and scissors. It’s a great sharpener, though you need some practice to maintain the right angle. I previously used the DMT system with a guide but sold it after three tries – the Spyderco triangulation works better for me. I bought my set 4 years ago for 240 PLN, today it costs 400 PLN. Shockingly expensive! The diamond rods alone – 300 PLN. Definitely overpriced, I wouldn’t buy it today for that amount.

A very high-quality knife sharpener and excellently made. Knives are sharpened with ease, and operation is very intuitive. The downside is quite a high price – 399 PLN is a lot.
