Snugpak Softie Elite 1 Sleeping Bag - Olive
Lightweight sleeping bag in Olive color, with a mummy-style construction, providing comfortable body positioning and freedom of movement during sleep. Made from Snugpack's proprietary materials, such as Paratex Micro, Paratex Light, and Softie. Inside the sleeping bag, there is a Reflectatherm layer, which reflects the heat generated by the body, significantly improving thermal comfort during use.
Temperatures and conditions of use
The Softie Elite 1 model is designed as a one-season sleeping bag suitable for use during warmer months. The usage temperature range provided by the manufacturer is from 2 to 7 deg. C.
Material Paratex Micro and Paratex Light, DWR coating
The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made from durable Paratex Micro material, which features high wind resistance and breathability, and has an additional DWR coating to protect against soaking. Inside, Paratex Light is used - a material with good breathability and moisture-wicking properties. Under the inner layer is a metalized Reflectatherm fabric, which reflects heat generated by the body, increasing the sleeping bag's thermal efficiency by about 15%.
Softie filling
The thermal insulation system is based on Softie filling. The material has a special fiber structure that provides high elasticity, moisture resistance, and the ability to maintain thermal insulation properties even after multiple compressions and use in harsh conditions.
Built-in expansion panel, reinforced foot area
The sleeping bag features a built-in expansion panel, which, when unfolded, increases the range of motion and allows for temperature regulation. In the lower part, there are clips that allow for shortening the sleeping bag, and internal reinforcement of the foot area allows for sleeping in shoes without damaging the fabric.
Two-way YKK zipper, adjustable hood
The sleeping bag has 2 internal pockets and a two-way YKK zipper, protected by a thermal strip, preventing heat loss and zipper jamming. Internal loops allow for attaching a sleeping bag liner, and the adjustable hood allows for user customization and reduces heat loss outside.
