Sky Watcher BK1309EQ2 telescope has a f/6.9 light gathering power, allowing for adequate observations and enabling the use of higher magnifications.

Optical system
Refracting telescope (Newtonian system) Its main advantage is its large 130 mm mirror. This telescope collects about 240 times more light than the human eye at night, allowing you to observe objects up to almost 12 magnitudes (with naked eye visibility up to 6 magnitudes). The size of the mirror is also related to the optical resolution, which in this telescope allows stars that are more than 1.1" apart to be resolved.

Mount
The EQ2 equatorial mount with micro-motors allows you to set up the telescope according to a star atlas or sky map and smoothly move it along the right ascension and declination axes.
