Sky Watcher Star Discovery MAK 102 Telescope

Telescope with Maksutov-Cassegrain optics with an objective diameter of 102 mm and a focal length of 1300 mm. The maximum useful zoom is 204x, which allows you to observe the surface of the moon and the brightest stars without problems. Thanks to its lightweight design and simple construction, the telescope is easy to transport. The tube is installed on a stable azimuthal mount equipped with a shelf for accessories.

The tripod is equipped with an extendable base, ensuring that the telescope can be adjusted to the needs of the observer. A 90-degree angle cap has been used to ensure precise focusing, as well as a 6x30 optical finder.

The telescope is equipped with the GO-TO SynScan system, which, via a Wi-Fi module and using a smartphone app, allows tracking and tracing objects in the sky. For traditionalists, the kit also includes a Synscan V5 hand controller with a built-in object database. The whole thing is powered by 8 AA batteries. In addition, the focuser includes a T-2 thread for connecting an optional T-ring and DSLR camera body.
