Telescopes of the Star Discovery series are characterized by their short optical tube and azimuth mount construction, which are equipped with the GoTo system. Such a system is an important advantage, as it allows automatic search for objects in the sky - especially useful for less visible observational targets. The included remote control allows you to enter data and target more than 42,000 objects in the sky. On the other hand, the searchlight type RedDot will allow you to easily locate bright objects in the sky.
The diameter of the lens is 102 mm, and the focal length is 500 mm. The tube is built based on the Maxutov-Cassegrain system. The mounting head is equipped with a container for 8 batteries, which allows the telescope to operate wirelessly.
