The telescope features a Maksutov optical system known for its exceptional image clarity and lack of chromatic distortion. It includes a spherical meniscus corrector made of Kron glass, along with a primary and a secondary mirror positioned inside the meniscus.
The tube's diameter is 140 mm, and it has a focal length of 1500 mm. The eyepiece focuser diameter measures 2 inches. Capable of achieving a maximum magnification of 191x, the telescope's tube is mounted on an EQ3-2 equatorial mount, which is fitted with precision micro-movement controls and has sturdy steel legs.
