BK909EQ2 is a 90-millimeter achromatic refractor with an f/10 light intensity and a focal length of 900mm. Equipped with a good quality 6x30 finder. The tube is suspended on an EQ2 parallactic mount, this mount allows convenient manual tracking of objects (it is also possible to mount an optional electric drive)
Optical system
The BK909EQ2 telescope is a classic achromatic refractor. It is equipped with an olens objective lens with a diameter of 90mm and a focal length of 900mm. The objective lens' light intensity is equal to f/10. On the eyepiece focuser side, the optical axis includes a 90-degree mirror angle cap, 2 Kellner system eyepieces with focal lengths of 10mm and 25mm, and a Barlow lens.
Mounting
The telescope is suspended on a EQ2 parallactic mount. The axes of the mount are tilted in such a way that one of the axes is directed to the celestial pole, near the Pole Star. When properly set up, objects in the sky move in the field of view in such a way that they can be tracked in one axis, without having to make adjustments in the other plane. Two types of drives can be connected to the mount, allowing the celestial sphere to be tracked.
Objective focuser
The telescope is equipped with a standard 1.25" eyepiece extractor. It is a rack-and-pinion (so-called Rack&Pinion) focuser. This extractor is terminated by a mount with an angle cap mounting screw. A 90-degree mirror angle cap in 1.25" standard is included in the set. This focuser is compatible with the Sky-Watcher focuser drive.
