Sky Watcher telescope is equipped with an achromatic refractor. It has a lens diameter of 120 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm. solid construction, stable mount
The telescope tube is placed on a stable EQ3-2 equatorial mount. The construction is mobile yet massive, sufficient for astrophotography using telescopes with diameters up to 150 mm. The system is equipped with precise micromovements, and it is possible to connect advanced drives such as SynScan GoTo (so-called Upgrade Kit EQ3-2). The used mount allows for mounting telescopes equipped with a Dovetail mounting rail compatible with the Vixen standard.
Rack&Pinion focuser
Model BK1206 features a 2" Rack&Pinion focuser, ending with a clamping ring that secures 2-inch accessories with clamping screws. On the focuser body, there is a standard Sky-Watcher finder mount.
