Sky Watcher telescope equipped with an achromatic refractor. The diameter of the optical lens is 120 mm, and the focal length is 1000 mm. The device provides a bright and clear image, which will prove useful when observing the planets and the Moon. The telescope will also allow you to find numerous star clusters, as well as brighter nebulae and galaxies.
The moderate lens speed of f/8.3 guarantees very good, even sharpness throughout the field of view. The lenses of the lens are coated with anti-glare coatings for improved contrast and image brightness. The stellar range is 14.1 magnitudes and the collecting ability (compared to the unaided eye) is 294, which allows for distant and clear observations.
The telescope's tube is mounted on a stable EQ3-2 parallactic mount. The design is mobile, but at the same time massive and sufficient to photograph the sky with telescopes of up to 150 mm in diameter. The system is equipped with precise micromotion, moreover, it is possible to connect quite advanced drives such as SynScan GoTo (the so-called Upgrade Kit EQ3-2). The used mount allows you to attach telescopes equipped with a Vixen-standard Dovetail mounting rail.
The BK1206 is equipped with a 2" Rack & Pinion (rack & pinion) eyepiece focuser. It is finished with a mounting ring with screws that clamp 2" accessories. There is a standard Sky-Watcher finder mount on the body of the focuser.
