Newtonian reflecting telescope designed for people looking for portable equipment for observing the Moon, planets, and brighter deep-sky objects. 114 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length allow observations both in the city and outside it, under a sufficiently dark sky.

The design features a moderate lens speed f/7.9, making it well suited for observing Solar System objects as well as bright star clusters, nebulae, or galaxies. The telescope collects up to 265 times more light than the human eye, and its limiting magnitude reaches 12.9. This makes it possible to see objects much fainter than those visible to the naked eye.

The model uses a reflector Newtonian system. The primary mirror with a diameter of 114 mm collects light and passes it to the eyepiece via the secondary mirror. This system makes it possible to achieve a large aperture in a relatively compact tube with a length of 880 mm and a diameter of 120 mm. The resolving power according to the Rayleigh criterion is 1.25", while according to the Dawes criterion it is 1.02". These parameters define the ability to resolve closely spaced objects, for example double stars, in favorable observing conditions.

The 114 mm aperture allows observation of details on the Moon's surface, such as craters or shadows along the boundary between day and night. In the case of planets, it is possible to see, among other things, the phases of Venus, the disk of Mars, Jupiter's equatorial bands, the four largest Galilean moons, and Saturn's rings. Observation of Uranus and Neptune as small points or disks also remains possible, depending on conditions and the magnification used.

The telescope is equipped with a 1.25" Rack-and-Pinion focuser. This standard allows the use of widely available eyepieces and astronomical accessories with a 1.25" barrel diameter, making it possible to expand the set with additional optics.

The set includes eyepieces with focal lengths of 25 mm and 10 mm, providing magnifications of 36x and 90x. The included 2x Barlow lens doubles the effective magnification of the eyepiece used, making it possible to achieve values of 72x and 180x. The telescope's maximum useful magnification is 228x.

The tube is mounted on an EQ1 equatorial mount. After proper alignment of the mount axis toward the north celestial pole, it allows tracking the apparent movement of objects across the sky using movement on a single axis. This solution is especially useful during observation at higher magnification.

The mount is equipped with fine-motion knobs designed for precise adjustment on the right ascension and declination axes. They make it easier to point the telescope at an object based on a sky map or astronomical atlas, as well as keep it in the field of view. The 2 kg counterweight allows the tube to be balanced on the mount, which improves smoothness of adjustment and stability during observation.

The mount is placed on an adjustable aluminum tripod. The tripod provides stable positioning of the equipment, and the central tray further stiffens the structure and provides space for eyepieces or small accessories. Tripod height adjustment allows the observing position to be adapted to the user and the height of the observed object.
