The Silva Expedition S map compass is designed for professionals requiring a precise and advanced navigation instrument.
Equipped with photoluminescent markings on its dial, needle, and base plate, the Expedition S is easy to use in dim light conditions. This compass includes a mirror, a magnifying glass, rulers measuring 85mm and 3 inches, a pendulum clinometer, and scales of 1:25000 and 1:50000 on soft, bendable tape. Its rotating dial features a grip made from DryFlex rubber, ensuring a comfortable and secure hold.
Serving both as a directional instrument and a map compass, it includes a Romer scale to assist with GPS navigation. The capability for magnetic declination correction makes the Expedition applicable worldwide.
