Crafted by the Swedish brand Silva, the Expedition 360 Global professional map compass is designed for experienced users requiring a precise and comprehensive navigation tool. It features a global needle that facilitates navigation across all three magnetic zones. Integrated scales of 1:25,000, 1:40,000, 1:50,000 and GPS enable measurements in both mm and inches.
The Expedition 360 Global is enhanced with fluorescent markers on the dial, needle, and base, making it much easier to use in low-light environments for up to 4 hours. This compass is also equipped with a magnifying glass, 90mm and 1.8-inch rulers, a pendulum clinometer, and 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales on a detachable soft strap. The rotating dial includes a DryFlex rubber grip for secure and comfortable handling.
This compass can efficiently serve both as a bearing tool and a map compass. The magnetic declination adjustment ensures the Expedition 360 Global compass can be utilized anywhere in the world.
Additionally, it comes with a card that, along with a map, helps to evaluate potential avalanche zones, plus a lanyard for neck wear.
