Its green dial is safeguarded by sapphire glass, known for its scratch resistance and protection against light impacts on hard surfaces. Watches with automatic mechanisms do not require batteries; the natural motion of the arm and wrist activates the pendulum, which winds the mechanism's mainspring. Additionally, the dial includes a date display showing the current day of the month.
The watch hands and indexes glow in the dark due to the Super-LumiNova coating. The rear glazed part of the watch (the lid) is made from mineral glass, allowing users to observe the functioning mechanism.
