This poncho will work great in emergency car situations. I will always have it on hand for a rainy day. The quality isn't impressive, but considering the price, it looks pretty decent. In my opinion, it's not worth packing all the rarely used things into the car every time – I'd rather always have them with me, even if they're not top quality, than later wonder if I have rain protection. When I go on a mountain trek, I prepare better and take something more durable then.
