Great gift for a man who enjoys being outdoors. I used it during rain while fishing and it worked perfectly. Definitely a notebook worth considering.

Personally, I often use a pencil, which—as described in the English description—works on both wet and dry surfaces. The notebook I received is more olive in color than I expected (it looked different in the photo).
