Switching between device modes is accomplished with a single button situated on the top of the housing. The model features a special plate that enables the smooth and easy tilting of the flashlight upwards or downwards, allowing you to direct the light beam to meet your specific needs.

The device runs on 3 AAA batteries that are included in the package, and thanks to the Hybrid Concept technology, a Petzl Core battery can also be used. The flashlight automatically recognizes the power source and adjusts its lighting settings accordingly.

    Very good, well-designed headlamp at an attractive price. What really sets it apart from typical Chinese models is the thoughtful design of the on/off system. To start with: it has three brightness levels, and I most often use the first one because it provides gentle light that doesn't dazzle your eyes in the dark. This mode is perfect, for example, for night fishing—when the light is too strong, it's hard to see anything after turning it off, and you have to wait for your eyes to adjust to the dark to see normally again. This solution is also practical when searching for things in your backpack after dusk. The biggest plus is the way the modes are switched—you choose them with a single button in this order: first click—10% power, second—50%, third—100%. However, if the headlamp stays on in the lowest mode for at least 10 seconds, the next press turns the lamp off instead of changing to the next brightness level, which is very convenient and helps prevent accidental eye-blinding. An additional advantage is the wide range of angle adjustment—you can set the lamp up or down without having to tilt your head, for example when changing a lure. The adjustment mechanism is stiff enough that it doesn't move on its own, even with sudden head movements.

    This is already another purchase of a Petzl headlamp from the Tikkina or Tikka XP series. In my opinion, these are among the most compact models. They do not have unnecessary features that only increase the price and are rarely used in practice. This unit is very easy to use and offers exactly what is needed. Another big plus is the option to buy a replacement headband as a separate part. I definitely recommend it.

    Nice headlamp, so far I've only used it for a short time, but a big advantage is the possibility to power it with both batteries and a rechargeable battery, which needs to be purchased separately. I'm still not sure about the lighting time, but the build quality is high. I recommend this product.
