The Ranger 2.0 Coyote shorts are absolutely great! Great look and material. Unfortunately, I had to return them — with my 104 cm waist, I’m exchanging them for size 100 cm. I’m already looking forward to it!

I bought them 2.5 years ago and use them both for everyday wear and in tough terrain. The build quality is excellent, and the functionality is an even bigger advantage. The crotch area has worn slightly from walking, thigh chafing, and contact with the ground. The zippers have never jammed, and they have never caught the lining. For everyday use, they provide a lot of warmth, but with this thickness that is completely natural. The water-repellent coating wore off after a few months, although it can be restored with other products; personally, however, I do not recommend that.

Do not rely on the size chart and choose your usual size as indicated in another review. The fabric is a bit "rough" but feels sturdy. We'll see how it holds up over time. Lots of pockets and storage options, even if you can't use them all at the same time because they are layered. Satisfied with the product overall.

After reading many comments, I decided to order 2 sizes smaller and the decision was right. The pants fit perfectly. The quality feels very good, as expected from Pentagon. I can't say anything about durability yet. Very fast delivery as always. Clear buying recommendation.

Great shorts. I bought the coyote version, but I'll probably also go for the olive. The material is very good, workmanship is precise, and they're very durable. A large number of well-placed pockets. I recommend them.

Just like with the long version of these pants, I was also worried about choosing a size "blindly" when buying these, but Pentagon didn't disappoint again – you can confidently choose the size you wear in jeans. I recommend washing them before first use, because – just like with the longer pants – they become softer and more comfortable to wear.

I am very satisfied with these pants, that's why I decided to buy a second pair in a different color – navy blue. They are well made, have many practical pockets, and are perfect for everyday use.
