Crafted from a durable blend of materials (65% polyester, 35% cotton) with a fabric weight of 225 g/m2, these shorts are designed to withstand abrasions and mechanical damage. The fabric is enhanced with DuPont Teflon coating, boosting its resistance to moisture and dirt.
16 practical pockets
The model comes with 16 functional pockets:
- Features two deep front pockets with angled entrances and reinforced edges.
- Includes two small thigh pockets to carry a smartphone or spare magazine.
- Large side cargo pockets are fitted with snap and button closures.
- Two ID pockets on the cargo pockets are zippered for storing documents or small flat items.

The waist circumference can be adjusted with an elastic tunnel belt, allowing for a customized fit. Sturdy loops allow you to attach equipment such as a knife, multitool or flashlight. The two front loops have additional loops, allowing to attach, for example, a carabiner.

Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Just like with the long version of these pants, I was also worried about choosing a size "blindly" when buying these, but Pentagon didn't disappoint again – you can confidently choose the size you wear in jeans. I recommend washing them before first use, because – just like with the longer pants – they become softer and more comfortable to wear.

Fantastic shorts – extremely comfortable, well made, and durable. I recommend them to everyone. As for sizing – based on the size chart, I chose a much too large size, and in the end, 44 corresponds more or less to "L" or size 33/34 in other brands.

I already have three long models of Pentagon pants, and these are my first Ranger shorts. I appreciate them for the large number of pockets, durability, good quality materials, and sturdy zippers. The biggest plus is the pockets for two phones. I give them 5 out of 5.
