The Pentagon BDU 2.0 Tropic Pants - Black in size 38/34 fit great, even though I usually wear a 36/34. Since I already have Pentagon BDU 2.0 Army pants in 36/34 and they are a bit tight at the waistband, I ordered one size up. Much more comfortable to wear with a hip circumference of 108 cm. The material is nice and light, but still gives a robust impression and can be worn comfortably even in warmer temperatures. At 30 degrees Celsius or more, though, I would definitely wear shorts if possible. ;-) The pockets on the legs are large, unfortunately so large that a phone always turns sideways when walking. The small pocket is perfect for a mini flashlight, e.g. Sofirn ST10 for EDC. Overall, a very nice pair of pants. What really bothers me, both in the Tropic and the Army version, are the drawstrings at the leg openings. They always slip out and are replaced with elastic and cord stoppers, because they're hard to tie and easily get pulled into the pant leg. Recommended purchase.

I was after a pair of trousers to take when walking up and down hills and things, and wanted something light yet durable. Took these for a test drive in a local forest and clambered up and down and through things when it was quite warm, approx late 20s C. When I put them on I was pleasantly surprised that they were a little stretchy, so I was confident that they would be able to stand up to a little activity. The only length was 34", I normally take a 31 so I was expecting to have to get these altered (and I will). I just turned the bottoms up and they were fine. Never a fan of the tie-cords in trousers so I'll probably end up taking these out. I usually take a 34 - 36" waist: I ordered a 36" just in case, and with a belt they fit well, allowing for movement. I've marked these as 'true to size' because of the waist and that I knew they would be too long. The pockets are nice and deep, and the side pockets are also, happily, pleated, so they allow for extra room. When I was wearing them I was getting hot: whenever there was a slight breeze I could feel it, which was a relief, and I can see myself wearing these in colder weather because I prefer the cold to the heat. I'm not a fan of internal waist buttons, but it's small beer. Good trousers, looking forward to getting them dirty. Tempted to get another pair in a lighter colour. They were delivered quickly too, thank you.

I bought size 30/32 (the smallest), and with my height of 175-177 cm and weight of 58 kg (I'm really slim), they're a bit loose, but with a belt they fit great. They're great summer pants—I previously had similar polyester ones and these are definitely better. They seem quite durable for such thin material, and they pair very well with a leather belt.

The pants are very comfortable and quite durable. Unfortunately, there is one drawback. I ordered four pairs in different colors, all in the same size, yet each one differs from the others—the length can vary by up to 5 cm, and the waist by as much as 4-5 cm. That's a significant downside. I have to return three pairs and personally choose the right ones in the store.

This is already my second pair of these pants. The previous ones, which I bought over a year ago in Tropic Coyote color, were made of a slightly different and better material. The new pants have much thinner fabric, it's easier to snag, there's no noticeable 'check' texture, and it feels different to the touch. I've already noticed that other Pentagon pants in the same model had different sizes depending on the color, but this is the first time I've encountered such a difference in material.

Lightweight pants are perfect for hot days. Although they have a military look, thanks to their well-cut design they look great, even with shirts that aren't just military style. This is already my third pair – this time I chose black. During the sale, the price is really attractive. The only drawback is the material, which easily gets snagged, so you have to be careful. They are not recommended for walks through bushes or dense shrubs.

Great lightweight pants for hot days. Although they have a military look, their rather slim fit makes them look excellent. They also go well with shirts of a different style than military. This is already my second pair – earlier I went for the tropic khaki model. On sale, they really cost very little. The only downside is the material, which can snag easily, so it's better to be careful and not use them, for example, for walking through bushes.

In my opinion, the pants are very comfortable – they are lightweight, breathable, and pleasant to wear. However, I have trouble understanding the sizing differences. In the photo, the pants shown are both size 50/86, yet the black ones are noticeably wider than the green ones. How can you choose the right size when there are such discrepancies? Interestingly, the black ones are looser and the green ones fit closer – ideally, a size between the two would work best. Ultimately, I also had to shorten the legs.

Hey! This is already the third time I've bought this model of pants, each time choosing a different color. The size fits perfectly. I usually wear 34/34 jeans and Pentagon delivers great here. The cut of the pants is slightly fitted, but thanks to the elastic material, they are very comfortable to wear. They allow complete freedom of movement. The materials are of high quality and the workmanship is meticulous. I wholeheartedly recommend this product!

The pants have an unusual cut, so if you have the option, I recommend trying them on in a store before purchase. I had to return my previous pair (they were too small, based on reviews suggesting to order a size down). It's better to take a bigger size if you don't like very fitted clothes. Compared to the BDU 2.0 line from the same company (which is 20–30 PLN cheaper), these pants are thinner, seem more delicate, and have a denser rip-stop weave. My opinion after one day of use.

The pants reached me very quickly, thank you to the store for the express service. I am satisfied with the purchase. The materials used are of great quality. The stitching is very solid, nothing sticks out, and the seams don't irritate the skin. They look like regular city pants but work perfectly as tactical clothing.

Once again, Pentagon pants have not let me down. I was looking for something lighter than the Ranger 2.0, but in a similar style, and this is exactly it. The material is light but durable, the pockets are very functional, and they fit great. I recommend them! Size M is perfect for 175/78.

The pants in this color look very good. They are light, breathable, and flexible. I previously bought them in the khaki version, and now I plan to buy another color. It's a very comfortable option for warm or hot days.

Very nice pants, the material rustles a bit. Perfect for summer because they’re breathable and elastic. I ordered size 48/38, I am 176 cm tall and have a 93 cm waist. They fit perfectly, just need a little hemming.
