Very good pants at a really attractive price. They have additional reinforcement at the back, so they don't tear easily. The belt loops are very wide – they fit every belt I use. The pockets are large and on one side have a Velcro closure, making them easy to access while still being well secured.

At 183 cm tall and weighing 80–85 kg, I chose size 34/34. The length matches the size chart (110–111 cm), although the trousers are slightly too long for me – it would be good to shorten them by about 2–3 cm. The shorter option would already be too short, while they are a bit looser at the waist than I would have expected, but size 32 would turn out to be too tight.

In my opinion, the Pentagon BDU 2.0 - Black military trousers are a weaker alternative to the Pentagon Ypero model. First of all, the drawcord solution in the Ypero is more comfortable and more functional than tying a cord at the bottom of the trouser legs. The side pockets fastened with hook-and-loop and a button are only average in practice, because the button is too tight and is basically not used. With these trousers, I also happened to snag a pocket on something, even though I use it less often than in the model being compared. The BDU 2.0 will be a better choice for people who do not want a tapered leg like in the Ypero. Size 33/34 fits very well for a height of 180 cm and a slim, athletic build in the 69-85 kg range.

Good trousers for the price. The only problem is the sizing: based on the size guide, especially the waist measurement, I logically chose a 34/34. But it actually corresponds to an EU 44, and since I normally wear a 40, they are far too loose on me. With a belt, they are still manageable. I would use them occasionally for bivouacking. But I do recommend this product; it is good quality. I will pay more attention to the size for my next orders.

For many years, I have chosen this model for my two sons, and we have all been satisfied with it, so we do not even look at other options. For the first time, we chose the PentaCamo camouflage version, and the trousers look really great, so it was a good purchase. As usual, the workmanship and material are of a very good standard. However, I do have one remark: we ordered two pairs, a black one and a PentaCamo one, in the same size 32/32, but the leg length differs between them by 1 cm. I do not know whether this is correct, which is why I am taking off one star.

Bought a pair of these in my order due to the price. They looked nice but on trying them on, they are much smaller in the waist than advertised. It wasn't even close to being able to button up. All my trousers are a 32 but the size delivered was closer to a 28. Trying to decide if it's worth buying another pair of a larger size or just leaving it as it might just have been an undersized pair in that batch and the larger size might turn out to be massive. It has been mentioned about the sizing in other reviews and I do think that ordering a couple of pairs is probably the best solution. If I do another order then I'll get hit with delivery charges , unless I spend enough to qualify for free.

I've had these trousers for a long time and bought them again in another color. I appreciate their quality and wearing comfort, and the price is also attractive. However, the sizing is a problem – it's very difficult to choose the right size online, as there aren't any precise guidelines. It's best to order several pairs and try them on at home.

The pants are comfortable and well-made. I mainly wear them as work pants and they fulfill their function perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
