Very good pants at a really attractive price. They have additional reinforcement at the back, so they don't tear easily. The belt loops are very wide – they fit every belt I use. The pockets are large and on one side have a Velcro closure, making them easy to access while still being well secured.

I've been wearing these pants for five months now. I also have Rangers, but they turn out to be too warm for summer. The BDU 2.0 perform great. They do have fewer pockets than the Rangers, but in practice that isn't a big problem. They fit well, and the pockets don't stick out. I use them for walks in the woods, at the beach, by the campfire, and in similar situations. You can kneel on the ground or grass in them without any worries. So far, nothing has worn through or been damaged. I bought them on sale for PLN 110.49, and I think that at this price they are a really very good choice. I'm already looking for another pair, just in a different color, because the ones I currently have are black.

The pants are made from sturdy material, the seams are even, and nothing sticks out or snags. The pockets are roomy, and the drawcord at the leg opening makes it easy to adjust the width to fit your footwear well. The downside is that the sizing runs large — I had to choose two sizes smaller, and the 34/34 model had a 93 cm waist instead of the declared 88 cm, while the length matched the photos. I haven’t tested them in the field yet.

For 33/34, the ranger green color fits not too badly size-wise; the problem is that if you are athletic, it will feel tight, so you should go more for 34/34. If you get it in terra brown, you will not even be able to close the pants.... Such a difference for pants of the same size is simply unthinkable…

At 183 cm tall and weighing 80–85 kg, I chose size 34/34. The length matches the size chart (110–111 cm), although the trousers are slightly too long for me – it would be good to shorten them by about 2–3 cm. The shorter option would already be too short, while they are a bit looser at the waist than I would have expected, but size 32 would turn out to be too tight.

In my opinion, the Pentagon BDU 2.0 - Black military trousers are a weaker alternative to the Pentagon Ypero model. First of all, the drawcord solution in the Ypero is more comfortable and more functional than tying a cord at the bottom of the trouser legs. The side pockets fastened with hook-and-loop and a button are only average in practice, because the button is too tight and is basically not used. With these trousers, I also happened to snag a pocket on something, even though I use it less often than in the model being compared. The BDU 2.0 will be a better choice for people who do not want a tapered leg like in the Ypero. Size 33/34 fits very well for a height of 180 cm and a slim, athletic build in the 69-85 kg range.
