Professional hearing protectors Peltor SportTac with active noise reduction function, designed for shooting sports. Built-in directional microphones pick up ambient sound, allowing you to hear it clearly without losing situational awareness. Simultaneously, when sudden noise occurs (e.g., gunfire), advanced electronics reduce noise to a safe level. This allows for free communication even during intense firing.
The model is equipped with two high-frequency microphones that enhance the audibility of ambient sounds. Harmful sounds are limited to a safe level 85 dB, while low sounds are amplified.
Volume control
The protectors provide volume adjustment for heard sounds and conversations as needed. The use of an advanced electronic system eliminates the occurrence of crackles. The model is equipped with a smoothly operating reproduction system, preventing sudden drops in hearing level. Activation and volume control are done with 3 buttons.
Contoured headband and earmuffs
Wide cushions very well isolate from noise. The lower part of the ear cups is contoured under the cheek pad, ensuring the protectors do not interfere with shooting. The soft plastic headband evenly distributes pressure on the head. This allows for wearing them for extended periods without feeling discomfort. The adjustable design makes it easy to adapt the protectors to the shooter's head shape.
Long operating time
Peltor SportTac are powered by two AAA, batteries which last for about 600 hours of operation. Replacing them requires only removing the panel on the side of one of the ear cups. The device is equipped with a low battery warning system and an automatic shut-off function after 2 hours of inactivity.
Audio input
The J22 audio input (3.5 mm mini jack) allows connection to devices such as a radio or smartphone, which further increases the functionality of the protectors.
