Opticon Dreamer Telescope - Black

A black mirror telescope designed for beginner and intermediate astronomy enthusiasts. The mirror optics eliminate chromatic aberration, allowing you to get bright, sharp images of nighttime objects. The device’s compact size lets you observe both at home and from a balcony or window, without having to set up a dedicated observation spot.

The Opticon Dreamer model uses a classic reflector optical system, with an 80 mm primary mirror playing a key role. This element gathers light delivered to the eyepiece, ensuring bright and clear images. With a 500 mm focal length and f/6.25 lens speed, it provides a balance between image detail and field of view.

This optical design achieves up to 83x magnification, allowing you to explore lunar surfaces—craters, seas, and mountain ranges—in detail. Under the right conditions, you can observe Saturn’s rings and Jupiter’s brightest moons. Its 11.6 magnitude reach lets you see faint objects such as nebulae and star clusters. Resolution of 1.52″ makes it possible to pick out fine details during planetary observations.

The focuser included is compatible with 1.25-inch eyepieces. The RedDot finder makes locating objects fast and accurate, especially useful for those new to astronomy. This reduces time spent searching for objects in the sky and significantly speeds up the observing process. The complete kit includes two eyepieces, 20 mm and 6 mm focal lengths, so you can choose the best magnification for whatever you’re observing.

The Dobsonian base design offers maximum simplicity and stability. Its short tripod height and compact size mean it takes up little space, even in tight areas. Mount stability greatly improves observation comfort by eliminating unwanted vibrations and allowing precise equipment adjustments.
