I recommend this oil. I have both mass-produced knives and those made by Polish craftsmen, such as from the Rato company. The oil protects the blades perfectly and comes in a practical, small package.
Natural oil designed for the care of knives, pocket knives, multitools and various cutting tools, including machetes, axes or katanas.
Effectively protects steel from corrosion, while preserving and refreshing it. It does not adversely affect other materials, such as plastics, plastic parts or rubber handles, making it completely safe for use.

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Opinel.
Opinel is a French brand with a rich history dating back to 1890, originating in the Savoy region. Its creator, Joseph Opinel, designed the first pocket knife, which quickly became a symbol of everyday use thanks to its simplicity and functionality. In 1955, the company developed the Virobloc locking mechanism, later modernized, which remains a distinctive feature of its products to this day. In 1985, the brand was recognized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, which included one of Opinel's models in its list of the 100 best-designed objects in the world. The company's products also found their way into the MoMA collection in New York. Production is carried out in Chambery with care for the environment – the wood is sourced from French forests and the resulting waste is used to heat the production facilities. The range includes folding tools, kitchen utensils, cutlery, and whetstones, which have become synonymous with durability, simplicity, and the French lifestyle.

The oil protects my knives very well. Carbon steel blades are properly shielded, and the product can also come into contact with food. However, you need to be careful with the packaging when transporting it in a backpack, as it’s made of thin metal and can be easily crushed.

Great product, as described, it has a light and transparent consistency. It's a reliable product from a good company, worth buying several to keep in stock. It refreshes kitchen knives, machetes, and pocket knives perfectly.

Hello, this is already my second bottle of this oil and it works very well. Even though the price isn’t low, I trust dedicated products. Of course, you can try cheaper alternatives, but I recommend giving this oil a try.

Very pleasant, light oil. There’s no problem with its viscosity or application, it is suitable for contact with food, and everything is packed in a convenient, handy little canister. I especially recommend it for carbon steel blades—it has a really good consistency.
