Njord Malin Small Axe
A versatile, compact axe with a blade made of carbon steel and an ash wood handle. It is perfect for bushcraft, such as building a shelter, preparing wood for a campfire, as well as for light work with wood in the garden. Its design is inspired by the axes used by the Vikings.
Carbon steel
The blade is made of durable carbon steel hardened to a hardness of 57 HRC.
Ash wood, impregnated with wax and oil
The profiled handle is made of ash wood, additionally impregnated with beeswax and linseed oil, which protects the wood from swelling and mold growth.

The set includes a handmade leather scabbard equipped with a belt loop for conveniently carrying the axe at the belt.

Small, but very comfortable to use. It fits perfectly in the hand and provides good control while working. I tested it on thinner wood and it performed flawlessly. Although it's not suitable for heavier tasks, it's excellent for preparing wood for a campfire. A great choice for a trip.
