The gasket works as it should. A regular lighter won't fit, but it's great for matches—just remember to add a protected striker, e.g., in a ziplock bag.
Waterproof container designed for holding matches, bills, a compact survival kit, and more. Moisture protection is provided by a cap with a gasket.
A small-sized flint rod is located in the lower section. The interior of the cap features a mirror.

It's an imitation of American army containers made in China. The container is tight and protects matches and cotton tinder well from moisture. The fire-starting rod, due to its small size, I treat more as a curiosity than a practical tool for making fire.

The container is tight and solid enough to protect contents from moisture—you can store not only matches in it. Great for storing matches, but it doesn't allow you to light them, since it doesn't have a striker. The striker, which contains red phosphorus, glass, and binder, is key to lighting a match by friction, causing temperature rise and chemical reaction. A regular match or popular survival matches will not ignite from the sparker in the container or its surface. So if you're buying matches, remove or cut out a piece of the striker and put it in the container—this will make it a practical solution for transport. Without a striker, the accessory is rather useless, because you can't light the match in it—unless you have special matches whose entire surface is the striker. Overall, I recommend it, but remember to include a striker inside.

It works, it's really waterproof. It also has many other uses besides storing matches. My mirror broke, but it was my own carelessness. The flint either doesn't work or I don't know how to use it properly—however, I didn't buy it for the flint, so I still give it a solid 4.

Great product, not too small, not too big—just right. Durable and cheap, especially on sale, it's hard not to buy a few. Highly recommend, 10/10!

A simple screw-top container, which I bought to gather a few small things in it. It does its job well and looks quite aesthetic.

Simple but effective. A container with a regular gasket, but it's actually waterproof (I checked). Perfect not only for matches, but also as a stash for cash.

It's small, but you can find lots of uses for it, not just for matches. I checked the tightness—it easily passed the water test. At this price, I highly recommend it as a tried-and-true stash for small items or money. I bought one at first, then bought another seven.

For me, the container serves to hold a BIC mini lighter and some spare cash. It would be nice to have an eyelet for a carabiner, but at this price there's nothing to complain about. Great as a waterproof box for an organizer—I recommend it.

A good container, you can store a small fire-starting kit or other small items in it. The mirror in the cap is a plus.

In such a tightly screwed container, you can safely store various small items, not just matches, e.g., needles, pins—especially during water or land trips.
-
Small, but it can bring joy. Not just for matches, it truly is tight—I tested it by immersing it in water. At this price, I definitely recommend it as a practical gadget for trips and other uses according to your needs.

Very nice box. I use it to carry matches with a striker, but it's also good for small things. The mirror as an extra is a great idea. I recommend!

A very practical container useful for many small things, with a convenient mirror inside which is a nice addition.
