Mil-Tec US Navy Peacoat - Black

The jacket is very nice, better than in pictures. Feels nice & warm and heavy in a good way. The sizes runs a bit big; I ordered a size XL, cause I’m usually that or 54 european or 42-44 imperial or 62 cm pit to pit. I could/ should have ordered L, but I have to take the jacket to my tailor anyway, cause rhe sleeves are always too long for me ( 95% certainty) and I shall take in a bit from seam at the same go.

The package arrived within a day, the pea coat fits perfectly. 30 years ago, I served in the Navy, and now at the age of 54, 175 cm tall and weighing 109 kg, after putting on the pea coat I felt young again. I chose size XXL.

A very pleasant pea coat, just what I was waiting for. For my height of 187 cm and weight of 89 kg, size L is perfect. The coat has a simple cut, so you can wear something warmer underneath, like a thick sweater. It looks great both with a shirt and a turtleneck, so it will also work in more elegant outfits; the gold buttons definitely catch the eye! The material composition is also a plus – for this price you usually get pure polyester, but here we have wool with a touch of viscose. Overall, it looks like a much more expensive product than it actually is. I definitely recommend it!

I highly recommend this product. I am 170 cm tall, with measurements of 100/98 and a weight of 75 kg, and I chose size XS, which fits perfectly. Thanks to the thickness of the fabric, the half-wool composition, and the appropriate weight, the coat is especially warm. In my opinion, at this price, it’s a very good choice.

Good morning. I bought the pea coat and I am satisfied with both the fit and the material. However, I have a few comments as a sailor. The first is the very inconvenient right pocket – to reach it, I have to unbutton the jacket, and since the buttons are poorly sewn with weak thread, I had to reattach all of them after just two days to prevent them from falling off. This is my second comment – maybe I got a model intended for left-handed sailors. In summary: the material, craftsmanship, and price are fine, but I advise future buyers to pay attention to the buttons, because there is only one spare, and each additional one costs 5 PLN. I recommend this product with a clear conscience. At 170 cm tall, with measurements of 100/100 and a weight of 74 kg, I chose size XS, intending to wear it over a shirt – it fits perfectly and there is enough space in the pockets. The coat is really thick and heavy, and the 50% wool makes it warm. The stitching quality is at a high level for this price. It goes perfectly in a formal set with a white shirt, black tie, and suit pants, but it also looks great with a wool turtleneck, jeans, and boots.

I wear it all winter over a fleece and I am very satisfied – the coat works great and doesn’t get damaged. When necessary, I put on a hat or the fleece hood, which is perfectly sufficient. The buttons are sewn on solidly, though a bit looser, which makes fastening easier. I recommend it as city wear, but I don't recommend it for outdoor expeditions.
