I chose the Mil-Tec Two Zip boots based on three things: light weight, breathability, and the presence of a zipper for easy putting on and taking off. They were mainly supposed to be practical for outdoor use, avoiding very tough conditions like long marches or use in cold or after soaking. A size 44 pair weighs 1260g, and the zippers (YKK) work flawlessly, which I rate very positively. Unfortunately, the combination of suede leather and polyester does not breathe well at all. The original insoles are thin, fit poorly, and move around easily. I bought them on May 2, 2023, for 329 PLN. During official work, I wore them for 60 days, and also completed a 49-kilometer three-day hike in Puszcza Bydgoska on gravel and forest trails. After 190 days of use, the heel started to detach from the sole, and the complaint was rejected. It's also worth mentioning that the insoles started to delaminate, and the lining is close to wearing through.
Mil-Tec Two Zip Tactical Boots - Coyote
Tactical boots designed in beige, crafted from a blend of suede leather and polyester. Ideal footwear for uniformed services, military classes, as well as adaptable for both urban and off-road use.
eva foam insole, ankle protection collar
The EVA foam insole, known for its flexibility and excellent insulation, greatly enhances comfort during extended wear. These boots are designed with a high upper and a soft collar that protects the ankle.
Durable outsole, deep tread, toe and heel protection
The sole was made from a combination of rubber and EVA foam. This allows for adequate flexibility and cushioning in rough terrain. The clearly marked tread provides good grip. Protection of the toe and heel is provided by an overmolded rubber sole.
laces and zippers
The model features lace eyelets and zippers running the full length of the upper on both sides for swift and easy wear and removal. Furthermore, the zippers are secured by a Velcro flap to avoid unintentional opening.

I want to emphasize that my opinion is based on my first impression right after opening the box. This is footwear from a lower price range, so that's normal. It will be necessary to waterproof them because they are not properly impregnated. I also feel that the manufacturer did not pay enough attention to the insole because, despite choosing the correct size, the foot slides inside. After replacing the insole, comfort and stability improved significantly. A big plus is the sole – it's not too soft, but also not overly hard, which suits me very well. Another advantage is the side zippers, which have proven very useful to me – on a daily basis, I usually choose shoes from higher-end brands like Lowy and Aku. I bought these shoes thinking I'd use them for about 3 months, and I have a feeling they will do great – the quality-to-price ratio is really favorable. It's also worth adding that they are exceptionally light, which will likely make them a great choice for summer.
