Woodland Camouflage

Woodland, also known as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US military in the early 1980s, inspired by the earlier ERDL camouflage. Used for over two decades as the standard pattern in the US Army until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It features large, irregular blotches in green, brown, beige, and black, which offer effective masking and disruptive properties, especially in woodland terrain. Due to its effectiveness and global recognizability, the pattern has gained numerous variations that have found use in over 60 military formations worldwide. This pattern has also significantly influenced pop culture, transitioning from military use to everyday fashion.
