Camouflage Flecktarn
Flecktarn is a traditional German military camouflage pattern that was officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. This pattern is characterized by small, irregular blotches in five colors - typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. The numerous dots and indistinct boundaries between colors allow Flecktarn to effectively obscure the wearer's outline in wooded areas, as well as in scrublands or against forest underbrush backgrounds. The camouflage was created specifically for European climates, particularly the temperate zone. Even today, Flecktarn continues to be a standard pattern used by the German military and other military and police forces. Its effectiveness has inspired various adaptations and versions in different countries.
