This fire starter is quite good for its price. In my opinion, it’s a suitable option for people who are just starting to use this kind of tool. Instead of the metal plate included in the set, it’s better to use something else to strike sparks.

It's small, light, and handy to have for outings in nature, as a backup for a lighter or matches. It makes sparks and, if the material you're lighting is well dried and flammable, the fire is easily started with this tool.

The fire starter produces few sparks and too little heat. Lighting a fire with it is inconvenient and not very effective. The handle broke off after just the third use.

It's hard to get enough sparks, and lighting a fire is also difficult. In the military, I had a better fire starter that would easily ignite cotton on the first try.

This is my first fire starter, and for the price, you can't complain. The blunt side of the knife makes the most sparks. If you want to use the included scraper, it helps to rough it up with a coarse file first.
