At first, there was a problem with the insert going out, but I managed to solve it. After lighting the carbide, you should leave the heater open for a few minutes until the coal is glowing along about 2 cm. When you notice that the device is heating less effectively, it's a good idea to open the heater for a moment from time to time to let the carbons get some air and burn more strongly. One insert lasts me about 5-6 hours of operation. I recommend this method.

In my opinion, they are average. Half of the refills went out before they burned completely; I will look for a more reliable solution.

You need to light them well; a torch lighter is very helpful.
