The matches are not really intended for survival use. In fact, they do not withstand moisture for long (the red part disintegrates if exposed to moisture for too long), but they can be used when wet. The striker also will not last long in humid conditions. So, use them knowledgeable of their limitations like normal matches, but they can be used once in the rain or after falling in water (but use them quickly afterward!).

For me, this product didn't fulfill its purpose. The matches themselves are fine and do work even when wet, but if the striker gets wet, the waterproof feature of the matches doesn’t matter anymore. It's better to invest in stormproof matches in a sealed case.

The matches have a great price-to-quality ratio. They aren’t storm matches, but they are still much more efficient and effective in wet or rainy weather than standard matches. Highly recommended.

Good value for the price. Waterproof – fine for splashes, but not so great for full immersion. They light up okay, but they work. No need to overthink it.

These are just regular matches, nothing more :D They work properly, you get 4 packs (so the price is great), perfect as a backup for other fire-lighting methods or for quick use. Super cool.

Really good matches that can be lit even when they are wet. However, you need to be careful with the striking surface – if it gets wet, you have to wait until it dries. The price of 12.99 PLN for 4 packs is, in my opinion, reasonable. When it’s very windy, there can be problems lighting them, as I confirmed after a trial on a boat.

For 13 PLN you can have 4 packs of good matches that are durable and work as intended. From my own experience, I can say they work even in the wind, although they struggle with very strong wind – still, I recommend them!

Miltec matches are very good quality. Ideal for everyday use and as a backup fire source in emergency situations. They are durable and moisture-resistant – much better than standard ones.

I am a traditionalist, and besides a fire starter, I most often use matches to start a fire. I always carry them in my EDC. Regular store-bought matches are getting worse and worse. These Mil-tec ones are much more durable and better protected against moisture. As for waterproofness – maybe they're not fully waterproof unless you coat them with wax, but they're still much better than regular matches.
