I have several bivouac-type shelters in my collection. I value them for their ease and speed of setup, simple design, and low profile. I bought the Mil-tec with the idea of using it during harsh weather—rain and mud. Before purchasing it, I was aware that it is rather heavy and somewhat simple in construction, but solid and inexpensive. These advantages made me decide to buy this model for use in tough conditions. I appreciate its stiff material and the well-thought-out shape around the head area. The high side ensures that even using, for example, a backpack as a pillow, it does not move outward. There is more space here than in more expensive models, where near the head there is only a hood. In the Mil-tec, there is no shortage of space; you can comfortably turn around or use your hands. The downside is the lack of a mosquito net, so you need to be prepared for insects by using chemical repellents. It performs well in the rain, but I intend to test it during a really heavy downpour. There is some condensation, but it doesn't bother me, and thanks to the ability to vent near the head, it's easy to air out the interior. In summary, I have no major complaints—it's a solid and worth-its-price product. If someone is a camping enthusiast or would like to try sleeping in this type of shelter, Mil-tec is a durable solution at a reasonable price.
Bivy bag crafted from a 3-layer laminate. The vapor-permeable membrane ensures a water resistance of 5000 mm/m2 and a breathability of 500 g/m2/24h, minimizing moisture buildup inside. Its generous design accommodates most sleeping bags available on the market. Utilizing this cover shields the sleeping bag from rain and wind, offering additional thermal insulation.
The cover is secured with a two-way zipper, allowing for quick and easy access to the interior. It features wide fabric strips fastened with press studs. An elastic band along with a Velcro closure is placed in the head area.
A carrying bag is included in the set.

Tested today... of course a little condensation forms, it's not a Carinthia, but for this price and in combination with the MFH sleeping bag, highly recommended. It could be a few centimeters bigger, but otherwise very satisfied. The zipper also works perfectly. Clear purchase recommendation from me.

Good quality material. Good protection against bad weather as well as cold. The zipper is perfect, the seams are flawless on the model I received. I used it several times (around -1 degree) and it provides good thermal protection. I recommend this bivy.

Another item in my collection with WASP I Z2 camouflage. The waterproofness is sufficient for me – I don't plan to sleep in it during rain, and this kind of protection is perfect for humidity or morning dew, especially if I’m sleeping on the ground under a tarp. The rest of the product description matches reality.

An affordable bivy bag, made quite well. The level of waterproofness is sufficient. Unfortunately, the low vapor permeability affects its breathability. In the morning, slight moisture condensation may occur. Still, considering the price, it is a good product. I can recommend the store Militaria.pl.

For a long time I was considering buying this bivy. Previously, I chose a lighter version, but it was clear that it was worth having something for tougher conditions or exceptional situations. This product fully meets my requirements and matches the description. I definitely recommend it.
