The SWR indicator is slightly above the range, but the antenna works—it's hard to believe. I plan to buy a second unit. I have already tested dozens of antennas and, combined with the RA-89, this set makes even my superheterodynes and Yaesu fall into the background. Highly recommended.

The antenna is sensational. I am amazed by its excellent transmit and receive parameters. It performs excellently in the 2m, 70cm, and PMR bands. It is very lightweight, flexible, and thin—it doesn’t strain the socket, and you can even bend it into a circle. It fits Midland PMRs after installing the appropriate socket, as well as all kinds of duobanders from various brands, from Baofeng to Yaesu. In some cases, you just need to use a 'barrel' connector for a small fee, so the antenna will fit any transceiver socket, and it can also be mounted on a magnetic base in the car.
