The canteen is really excellently made, incredibly lightweight thanks to its titanium construction. I previously tested various steel containers—they are durable, but unfortunately heavy. Aluminum ones, on the other hand, are light but cannot withstand fire or gasoline burners. My adventure with titanium started with a spoon, now I’m replacing all my gear with this material because of its reliability and low weight. This canteen weighs even less than a one-liter Nalgene plastic bottle, and you can also boil water directly in it. The set also includes a large pouch, which will likely fit the MFH FOX Outdoor mess kit, though I must admit the pouch could be better made; for this price, I might consider a sturdier solution. The canteen fits, for example, British Osprey or Virtus bottle pouches, which are very durable. I highly recommend this canteen—it’s expensive, but definitely worth the price.
