Cast iron pot with lid, crafted for use over an open flame as well as in a household oven. The cookware is distinguished by its excellent resistance to mechanical damage and its capacity to evenly distribute heat.
Both the pot and lid are equipped with legs, allowing them to be set directly on the fire, while the lid serves as a frying pan.
A galvanized bail enables both carrying and hanging the pot over a campfire. A groove on the rim of the pot and lid permits the insertion of a food thermometer.

When the pot was available on sale, I quickly decided to buy it. The workmanship is very solid. The manufacturer declares that it has already been pre-seasoned, but in my opinion, it's better to do this process thoroughly yourself.

This is truly a solid piece of cast iron – very heavy and durable. It has a large capacity. An additional advantage is the possibility of using the lid as a pan. It's an ideal pot for campfires.
