Camouflage Flecktarn

Flecktarn is a German military camouflage pattern officially introduced to the Bundeswehr in 1990. It consists of small, irregular patches in five colors—typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. With the dispersion of numerous spots and blurred boundaries between colors, Flecktarn effectively obscures the user's silhouette both in forests and brush or against the forest floor. This camouflage was designed with the European climate in mind, particularly in the temperate zone. Flecktarn remains the standard pattern for the German army and other military and police formations, and its effectiveness has led to many variations and adaptations in different countries.
