MFH 3x3 Tarp - M95 CZ Camo

The MFH Tarp camping sheet is constructed from robust polyester with a polyurethane coating. It serves multiple purposes, such as acting as a tent, sunshade, protective tarpaulin, or emergency resource. This sheet resists water penetration up to a 1500 mm water column.

Rugged construction

The model measuring 3 m x 3 m features durable metal eyelets located at the corners and midpoints of each edge, allowing for straightforward setup and multiple configurations. Reinforced stitching around the eyelets strengthens the structure and boosts tear resistance.

Versatile and easy to use

Compact and functional, it enables a swift setup for shelter while trekking, on cycling tours, or during camping. Its lightweight construction offers a solid alternative to traditional, bulkier tents.

M95 CZ Camo Camouflage

M95 CZ Camo (Vz. 95) is a Czech camouflage pattern, officially adopted by the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in 1995. Although introduced in the mid-1990s, its design was developed as early as 1985 with the Czechoslovak Army in mind - but was not implemented at the time. The Vz. 95 pattern, also known as the “leaf pattern,” is inspired by the American M1948 ERDL camouflage, and features a different, more subdued color scheme. It consists of irregular patches of black, gray-green and olive green, arranged on a light green background. This arrangement makes the camouflage work well in European forest and wooded areas.

    The tent is good and matches the description. Please note that the zippers are shiny, even though the tent is tactical; you may need to paint them black or green.

    A solid tarp, not some thin sheets that let water through. It has a large surface area, so you can hide well under it. The camouflage will be very effective in summer, although a bit less so in late autumn. The tarp didn’t leak even during heavy rain. I definitely recommend it.

    In my opinion, this is the best tarp in this price range, and it’s also noticeably lighter than other 3x3 models. The downside is the rather low waterproofness and the presence of grommets instead of straps, so it doesn’t quite match more expensive counterparts. However, in A-frame configurations or with highly sloped surfaces, it works excellently. I recommend both the product and the Military store.

    For this amount of money, it's really a good choice. As a first camping tarp, it works well as shelter both for resting on a hot afternoon and during autumn rain. Only the mounting eyelet ripped—that’s all.

    After one season, the sealing came off in several places. With side tensioning, the material ripped. After two seasons, almost a complete lack of waterproofing—water soaks into the fabric.
